PURPOSE:To raise heat resistance by forming the material obtained through mixing and kneading thermoplastic resin and graphite, to a prescribed shape, and irradiating it with beta rays. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is formed by the material obtained through mixing graphite of 0.5-5 times the quantity basing on thermoplastic resin such as polyvinyl chloride, polyolefin and polyester, with said resin and kneading the same so that they are distributed uniformly, and a diaphragm 1 is obtained by working the sheet to a prescribed shape. This diaphragm 1 is irradiated by beta rays of several MRAD to cure it and it is crossliked through the process of excitation and decomposition. By this crosslink, a linear polymer is made three-dimensional, and the heat resistance is raised. |
