A sealing shank is set at right angles to a thin fixing shank, which has holes through it, on a profile piece for sealing off ceramic slabs on a step, or similar. The sealing shank (32) has an additional shank (34) formed on it, outwardly parallel and offset for level from the fixing shank (31). The upper side of this is slip-inhibiting, or has a slip-inhibiting coating (4). The whole unit can be roughly Z-shaped, with slip-inhibiting profiling on top of the outer shank. Suitable profiles can be held by underside stems in open undercut chambers in this shank. This combines protective covering with a safe treading surface.
|
