PURPOSE:To correct distortion of a character, which is caused by influence of air resistance of an ink dot and electric charge, by generating a signal for adding a dot, when printing of each part of a character is started, and at the last part of a character in which a long dot is continued continuously. CONSTITUTION:A character pattern is generated so that a signal of 1 dot A is added before a signal 1 for striking the first dot of each part of a character. According to this constitution, a part whose length becomes short or whose width becomes narrow due to the fact that the dot is doubled, in a character of E becomes almost same as a character whose dot has been struck normally. Also, as for delay of parts of two dots 1, 2, and a signal of the last dot 8 or 6 of a lot of continued dots, a character pattern is generted so as to add a signal of 1 dot 13 subsequently. In this way, a shoulder part of the character E causes no missing state. |
