PURPOSE:To simply detect paper choke by detecting the recording paper choke through the use of openings formed on a suction belt. CONSTITUTION:A number of openings 22 for suction are existed with a given interval toward the moving direction on a suction belt 21. When a counter is operated, that is during recording paper choke detecting period, and a recording paper 1 reaches a detecting sensor 10, the openings 22 are covered with the paper 1 and no signal is outputted from the sensor 10. If no paper 1 reaches, since the openings 22 pass in front of the sensor 10 every given interval P, a signal is outputted from the sensor 10 every passing. |
