The squeezer comprises two shells extending longitudinally transversely to a swivel axis (3) wherein one shell (5) acting as the pressure body can be folded at least partly into the other shell (1). These shells pref. have a U-shape, seen in cross-section with the juice-collecting body (1) tapering in the longitudinal direction to pref. end in a pouring lip (2). A slice of lemon can now be placed in the squeezer and squeezed with minimum effort by pressing the top shell down into the bottom shell.
