Fixing of heating tube to insulation board - uses wire staple curved and applied by rotation so as to leave underlying board material intact

The wall or floor heating system comprises heating tubes secured to foil-covered insulating board by metal wire staples which are each in contact with the exposed outer surface of the tube. Each staple has at least one curved portion penetrating the board material. The curved portion is shaped as a circular arc and is inserted into the board material by rotating the staple about the centre of the curvature radius which lies above the surface of the board. This arrangement leaves the insulating material between the arc and the board surface intact.
