PURPOSE:To achieve interrupting aommunication between terminal and exchanger or between terminals, by changing the content of signal bit and data bit during communication between the terminals. CONSTITUTION:Terminals 01, 02 are in the course of communication, and an exchanger 41 always monitors the signal bit and data bit from the terminal 01 with a signal transmission/receiving device 43. When the terminal 01 causes interruption to the exchanger, the envelope in which the signal bit is 0 is transmitted for a fixed time, or a suitable sequential pattern of the envelope of 0 and 1 is transmitted. The device 43 detects this as an interruption request signal, the line from the terminal 01 to 02 is detached to connect the lines to signal transmitter/receiver 42, 43. After a fixed time, the line to which the signal bit and data bit are transmitted from the terminal 02 is detached to connect it to the signal transmitter/receiver 42, 43. |
