<p>The implement picks up and packs dog excreta, and comprises a set of bars hinging together (1a,1b,2a,2b) with a gripping jaw (7a,7b) which can be opened and shut. A sack (8) particularly of plastic, is fitted over the jaw, its open mouth being brought over the excreta, the jaw being then shut and the excreta thrust into the part of the sack inside the jaw. The rest of the sack is then pulled back over the shut jaw and the inverted sack is closed. The jaw can comprise two parallel scraper edges, being spring-loaded open or shut.</p> |
