PURPOSE:To achieve miniaturization and integration and to reduce a loss of light by providing a common electrode on the bottom surface of a transparent semiconductor, and by forming an intersection or branch electrode pattern consisting of metallic stripes on the top surface with an insulating film between. CONSTITUTION:On the bottom surface of a transparent semiconductor 6, a common electrode 8' is provided and on the top surface, a metallic electrode 8 is arranged with an insulating film 7 between, thereby providing intersection or branch electrode patterns A'-E'. One light input Iin is branched to an I'out (1) when biases VA', VB', VC', and VD' are on or to an Iout (2) when biases VA', VB' and VE' are on. Thus, miniaturization and integration are achieved and a loss of light is reduced. |
