PURPOSE:To measure the adjusting state of a line image sensor unit accurately, by locating a plurality of gauge trains formed with bars of a given width on a transparent sheet. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of gauge trains 7-1, 7-2 in which bars 8-1, 8-2, 9-1, 9-2 with a given width are formed with a given interval and length, are located on a transparent sheet. The gauge trains are in parallel with the main scanning direction of a line image sensor, and a plurality of overlapping directions of the gauge trains are in parallel with the subscanning direction of the line image sensor. The bar width and interval of the adjacent gauge trains are differently formed. The picture displayed on the screen of a measuring CRT is changed with the change in the relative position of a sensor read-in area 10 to the gauge trains. |
