<p>The mechanism is intended for presenting items, e.g. paper rolls, at a delivery point. The rolls are held in carriers swivelably suspended at either end between two endless chains which run around chain wheels under controlled drive. The carriers have a segment-shaped cross-section and sector-shaped sides. Each carrier is provided with an eye, or the like, capable of being engaged by a corresponding bolt, e.g. on a hinged panel, at the delivery point to securely locate the carrier. The control unit may have push-buttons to bring individual carriers to the delivery point.</p> |
