PURPOSE:Seaweeds are cut into fine strips, removed salines and boiled, then the boiled solution is filtered to produce the objective alkaline seaweed extract that is used to prevent or treat geriatric diseases such as hypertension, cancers or ulcers and as a blood-making agent. CONSTITUTION:Plural kinds of seaweeds such as sea tangle, wakame weed, ''Arame'' (Eisenia bycyclis), ''Kajime'' (Ecklonia cava), ''Hijiki'' (Hizikia fusiforme) and others are cut into fine pieces and dipped in water for about 18-24hr to remove saline. Then, they are boiled in water at about 12-20hr and the boiling solution is filtered. |
