PURPOSE:To facilitate the mass production with a simple and quick assembly for a waveguide type band-pass filter, by forming plural types of filter elements by burying an inductive post into a holder made of a material having a low inductive loss and then inserting one of the filter elements into a waveguide. CONSTITUTION:A waveguide 1 is prepared along with plural types of filter elements 5 which are formed by buring plural inductive posts 9 into a holder 6 made of a material having a low inductive loss and having an outer form so that it can be put into the waveguide 1 and also can touch elastically inner wall surfaces 1a, 1b of the waveguide 1. Then one of the above-mentioned elements 5 is put into the waveguide 1 prior to the shipment. Thus a filter is obtained with the desired band pass characteristics. The element 5 is made by inserting the brass inductive posts 9 fixed to a cover body 6b made of foamed styrol into holes 7 and 7 provided to a holder main body 6a made of foamed styrol, for instance. |
