<p>The insertion in narrow spaces, without need for removal of any cladding, is achieved with an insulating mat, made of mineral wool, styropor panels, or similar, partic. for installation in sloping roof voids. Mats are of small volume, and are fitted to the structure before unfolding to fill the space required. A vacuum may be created in parts of them during production, for subsequent filling with air, with latent structural forces. Parts may also have hard-setting foamed material pressed in, for subsequent expansion. Unfolding structural or support elements can be U-shaped or ladder-shaped, with provision for foam filling. Foil sheets (1) of aluminium, glass fibre mesh, board, paper or plastic, continuous or perforated, can be attached to the support element.</p> |
