<p>PURPOSE:To constitute a split type electromagnetic coil in a small size, by making arrangements so that a uniform magnetic field may be formed by supplying the electric current in a spiral form to split rings from the outside of magnetism collecting materials, the coil may be split, and so that materials to be welded may be fitted and removed in the direction of radius. CONSTITUTION:When an exciting power source is activated, magnetic fields at the inner and outer circumferences formed by each split ring 1, 2, and 3 in magnetism collecting cases 6 and 7, are arranged in the same direction, and are effectively converged by the magnetism collecting cases 6 and 7 of a magnetic substance. On the contrary, magnetic fields formed by conductors a-i cannot give any influences to the split rings because the magnetism collecting cases 6 and 7 become a magnetic seal. Therefore, opposing split rings 1, 2 and 3 form a magnetic field similar to a magnetic field formed by a conductor wound in a spiral form. Since connecting terminals 8 and 9 are not only connected to the conductors, but also fix the rings themselves to the magnetism collecting cases, and moreover, they can act as a path 11 for the gas, the whole constitution of this coil can be reduced in size to an extremely small one.</p> |
