PURPOSE:To enable a plate making operator to select a picture selected by an editor with high precision without slipping, by recording a frame designation signal during the vertical blanking period of VTR video signals and detecting this. CONSTITUTION:A circuit 25 for generating a frame designation signal and an after- recording signal generating circuit 26 are connected to VTR21. An editor reproduces an animated film and the selected picture is projected on a monitor 23. At that time on pushing the button of the circuit 25, the limited part of the blanking period of the VTR tape is set to an insert mode with an signal sent from the circuit 26, and a frame designation signal is recorded on this tape 30. This is reproduced by a plate making operator, and the frame designation signal is detected with a detecting circuit 32, permitting a frame memory to be freezed, and the operator to select the same picture as the editor selected with high precision. |
