摘要 PURPOSE:The titled material having a three dimentional cross-linked structure, improved resistance to scuffing and weather resistance, and high index of refraction, obtained by copolymerizing a halogen derivative of styrene as a main component with a specific polyfunctional acrylate with an allyl cinnamate. CONSTITUTION:(A) Preferably 50-70wt% halogen derivative of styrene (e.g., ortho-chlorostyrene, etc.) shown by the formula I (X is halogen other than F; m is 1-5) is copolymerized with (B) a benzene nucleus-containing polyfunctional acrylate (e.g., Br4-bisphenol S type dimethacrylate, etc.) shown by the formula II (R1 and R2 are H or alkyl; m and n are 0-4; O is 0 or 1) and (C) an allyl cinnamate shown by the formula III (m is 0-5; n is 1-3), to give the desired lens material. EFFECT:Capable of being ground by a whetstone of diamond.
