PURPOSE:To suppress the useless parasitic vibration, by providing a substance having a proper length and mass in front of a cartridge. CONSTITUTION:A photocartridge 3 is attached to a tone arm 2 at a place backward from the tip of the arm 2 by X, and a centroid adjusting weight 1 is attached at the tip of the arm 2. The length of X is effectively set 10-35% approximately the length measured from a bearing 6 of the arm 2, and the maximum point of attenuation of vibration is at a place of about 25%. The length of X can be reduced with attachment of the weight 1. A head shell can be worked in the same way. |
