PURPOSE:To surely prevent the double feeding of originals by interrupting the driving of main and auxiliary feed means after the original is accepted in the original conveying means on the down stream side in an original feed direction from the main feed means. CONSTITUTION:The forward revolving roller 1 of a pair of upper and lower parallel rollers 1, 2 formed with diametral circumferential parts alternately is supported by way of a one-way clutch, and the timing pulley 54 on the side of an auxiliary roller shaft 52 is supported by way of a one-way clutch 56. Before the feeding of the original O1 in the uppermost part is started and its leading end part is pinched by relay conveying rollers 4, the roller 5 revolves cooperatively with the driving of the roller 1 of the feed rollers 1, 2, but when the trailing end edge of the original O1 passes the position of the roller 5, the roller 5 contacts the original O2 in the next position while it is held stopped, and therefore the double feed trouble of the originals can be completely eliminated. Upon ending of the delivery of the original O1, the revolution of the shaft 13 is resumed. |
