<p>The vehicle is fitted with an ultrasonic transmitter to generate an animal warning ahead of the vehicle in a selected cone. The vehicle speed is monitored by a comparator circuit and a reference signal to generate the signals above a set speed. A second mode of operation initiates the signals in response to falling illumination, with the cone shape designed to fit the main and dipped beam throw. The cone is deflected with the steering on cornering for added effect, and to prevent animals which are off the road being scared. The circuitry is simple and in block form and can be fitted to any vehicle.</p> |
