REMOVABLE ULTRA-SLIM WIRELESS OPTICAL MOUSE FOR PORTABLE COMPUTER SYSTEM

A slim type wireless optical mouse usable to a portable computer system is provided to receive the wireless mouse in a card slot of a notebook computer by enabling a user to easily use the wireless mouse anyplace with the surface of a finger without restriction of a touch pad and charging the wireless mouse with the card slot of the notebook computer. A charger is charged through a connector by being inserted into the card slot of the notebook computer. A module has thickness of 1.5-2 millimeters by using an optical waveguide and a collecting lens to convert a vertical optical path into a horizontal optical path while moving a pointer of a window screen by detecting movement of an object with using power of the charger. A wireless transceiver communicates pointer coordinate values calculated by detecting the motion of the object and a command with the notebook computer through the wireless network.
