PURPOSE:To secure lateral views on both sides of an automobile by such a way that a windshield glass of a side window on each side of an automobile is interposed between two wipers, outside one of which is fixed with a main shaft 4 carrying a sleeve and provided with a lock lever, and inside one of which is provided with a knob and a stop hook. CONSTITUTION:Two wipers 3 each having a reinforcing plate 5 are fitted on a door sash 1 at a portion around a side window on each of the driver's seat side and the assistant driver's seat side, the windshield glass 2 of the side window being interposed between the two wipers 3. The inside one of the wipers 3 is attached with a knob 6 and a stop hook 7 at the intermediate portion thereof, and the outside one is fixed with a main shaft 4 carrying a sleeve and provided with a lock lever 8. When the windshiled glass 2 is partially opened, operation of the wipers 3 is inhibited by the lock lever 8, while when the windshield glass 2 is fully closed, the lock lever 8 is pushed up, releasing the wipers 3 from its locking state, thereby both inside and outside wipers 3 can be manipulated, with the stop hook 7 being released, for wiping grime off both surfaces of the windshieled glass 2. |
