PURPOSE:To absorb the relative displacement of a shaft between its engine and turbine wheel sides, by supporting one end of the shaft to the engine side and the other end to the wall surface of an evaporator fan with axially slidable bearings. CONSTITUTION:One end of a shaft 16 is supported to the side of an engine 8 while the other end is supported to the wall surface of an evaporator fan 6, and a turbine wheel 7 is mounted to the point end of the other end in said shaft 16. Then bearings 14, 26 of its supported parts are of such constitution that external surfaces of outer rings consist of combination of bearings 20, 21 shaped to spherical surfaces 20a, 21a respectively and spherical bearing seats 20', 21' while the end parts of the shaft 16 are inserted and supported axially slidably to the internal peripheral surfaces of inner rings. In this way, the relative displacement of the shaft caused by engine vibration at its sides of the engine 8 and the turbine wheel 7 can be absorbed with reduction of a number of bearings further without causing the necessity for using a universal joint or the like, resulting in the simplification of construction and the reduction of required number of part items. |
