Diecasting mould cooling-system - with temp. controlled servomotor for admission valve from casting plunger cooling circuit

Compression or diecasting moulds for a pressure diecasting machine are fitted with a cooling system which is connected with a supply line and a return line to the cooling channels of the casting plunger. The feed rate of the coolant is controlled by one or several adjustable valves, driven by servo motors. Each valve is equipped with one or several stops to restrict its max. opening. This ensures an optimum mould temp. which has a beneficial effect both on the quality of the castings and on the mould service life.
