<p>The case, comprises a box portion and a hinged cover, both of which have frame members located in the region of their mating edges for supporting covering and lining materials. The covering and lining materials are secured on an inner portion of the frame members, so that the frame members are visibly exposed to the exterior of the case. A reentrant fold and a reinforcing seam are formed in each frame member. The covering and lining materials are secured to the reentrant folds. The frame members are each made of anodized light metal sheet, with the outer surface covered with a layer of synthetic material, applied by foil welding.</p> |
