PURPOSE:To reduce the number of light auxiliary thyristors by controlling with light the light auxiliary thyristors connected in series with the primary coil of a pulse transformer. CONSTITUTION:The primary coil of a pulse transformer PT is connected among main thyristors TH1, TH2, THN, and a light auxiliary thyristor PTH and a gate current suppressing resistor R are connected in series with the primary coil of the pulse transformer PT. A light guide is communicated between the light auxiliary thyristor PTH and a firing controller connected to the ground potential. Accordingly, the thyristors TH1, TH2, TH3 can be simultaneously fired by the gate current pulse. |
