<p>The combined rotating and reciprocating engine has rotor with three radial cylinders for pistons. The engine runs quietly owing to symmetrical layout. The three pistons rotate together with the rotor(2) and pistons reciprocate simultaneously in radial direction. The engine crankshaft rotates planetary gears (29) connected to a rim with internal gear teeth. The planetary gears are connected by shafts, with planet carrier connected firmly to the rotor by sleeve (21) for starting rotor station. Spring loaded ring seals (13) are situated in seal grooves and seals are pressed against housing inner wall.</p> |
