The fuel changeover system is for an engine of the type which may be driven by various fuels such as petrol and kerosene. The system comprises two float chambers(1,2) for two kinds of fuel and a cock(29) with passages adapted to communicate both float chambers with each other for introducing the remaining fuel into the empty float chamber. The system, further, comprises a petrol reservoir(27) and valve means for supplying the petrol in the reservoir to the carburetor in order to start the engine when the petrol in the float chamber runs out.
