Base drum pedal system by which the heel of the foot actuates a drumstick. System combinable with the current system. The invention mounted on the body 17 of a current pedal is characterised by a shaft 1 fixed to the body 17 of a pedal, holding an adjustable pedal mechanism with two independently adjustable rods, which, when the rod 3 is acted upon, brings about the reverse movement of another rod 6 which pulls on a belt 29 fixed, on the one hand, to the shaft 1 and attached to a pinion 13 mounted on the shaft of the drumstick 12 pivoting independently of the shaft 16 by virtue of the ballbearing mounting 11 which characterises it. All this is in the same movement alignment. The tension created by the rod 6 on the belt 29 gives rise to rotation of the shaft 11 of the drumstick 12 striking the base drum skin. <IMAGE>
