<p>PURPOSE:To enable to control the generated output of the subject generator without changing the quantity of water flowing on the water wheel by a method wherein a variable speed changing device is provided between the water wheel and the generator. CONSTITUTION:A stepless speed changer 4 is provided between the rotating shaft of the generator 1 and the rotating shaft of the water wheel 2, the relative relations of rotating speed between the water wheel 2 and the generator 1 is changed by varying the speed changing ratio of the stepless speed changer 4 and the rotating speed of the generator 1 is kept constant. Through these procedures, the variable guide vane of the water wheel can be omitted or reduced.</p> |
