PURPOSE:To enhance the quality and accuracy of an elongated product, by clamping the both side parts of a film between two pulleys and an elongating belt to be engaged with each pulley, and concurrently rotating the two pulleys in reversal directions so as to transversally elongate the film. CONSTITUTION:To elongating pulleys 1, 1', which rotate along opposit directions, are arranged with a fixed distance in a heating chamber. Each elongating belt 2, 2' is engaged with each pulley 1, 1' in the range of a semicircumference or shorter. A pipe-form film A is fed into a gap between the two elongating pulleys 1 and 1'. At this time, the both side parts of the film A are clamped between each pulley 1, 1' and each belt 2, 2', while each pulley 1, 1' is rotated along direction reversal together. Consequently, the pipe-form film A is carried in a state widened toward the end and elongated.
