<p>The canvas side cover for a lorry is remote operated using a series of draw lines linked to the bottom of the cover and threaded through rings (21) to pulleys (22) at the top edge of the support frame. The lines are taken to a rear mounted pulley (22a) from where they are taken down to operating rings (25,26). The operator pulls the rings down to raise the cover, with securing hooks to hold the rings and lines. The cover is rapidly raised, single handed and requires no special servo drives.</p> |
