PURPOSE:To ensure smooth restarting of operation in a computer system, by securing an antiearthquake system for each of the machinery constituting the computer system based on the priority and after sensing the early slight shocks of the earthquake. CONSTITUTION:The early slight shocks of an earthquake are sensed by a sensor 9 and sent to a control circuit 8, and the circuit 8 decides the priority of control based on the state of each machinery monitored at that moment such as a CPU1 and peripheral machines 2-7. Based on this priority, each machine is set under a stop mode. After this, the circuit 8 restarts an operation in the prescribed sequence if a sensor 11 detects no main shock of the earthquake. Accordingly, not only the data is protected for a computer system when the main shock occurs but each machine can have its own antiearthquake system. Thus, a smooth restart is ensured for operation of the system. |
