PURPOSE:To enable even a deaf-and-dumb person and a person who is hard of hearing to obtain the timing of a transmission command accurately, by obtaining answer signals of a fascimile equipment visually. CONSTITUTION:An answer-signal visual display device 10 is connected to a telephone set 3 and installed independently of a fascimile equipment. For original transmission, the telephone set 3 calls a party-side telephone set (facsimile equipment) with the handset off the hook, and then an answer signal is sent from the party- side telephone set. The answer signal is detected by the display device 10 united with the telephone set 3 to display that with lamps, etc. Consequently, a deaf- and-dump person or person who is hard of hearing senses that and starts the original transmission. |
