PURPOSE:To ensure the drawing of the output even if some cells are shaded by inserting a diode into the cells connected in series at a interval of one or more than one. CONSTITUTION:Diodes D1-Dn are connected in antiparallel to solar battery cells SC1-SCn, so that a series connection state is maintained in the entire series circuit of the cells. As single cell, this prevents short-circuiting through a by-pass. With such an arrangement, even if some cells are shaded, the output of the cells exposed to light is drawn through diodes connected in parallel to the shaded cells. |
