PURPOSE:To prevent the misassembling of a motor by a method wherein an end bracket external shape is rendered unsymmetrical so that the bracket may be assembled only when it is oriented as prescribed. CONSTITUTION:The external shape of an end bracket 7 is made unsymmetrical with a cut away part 8 of its peripheral flange 10. The cut away 8 provided to the flange 10 of the end bracket 7 fits a protective cover 9 only when the bracket 7 is properly oriented or, otherwise, the flange 10 hampers a successful installation. A plural number of through bolts 11, arranged circumference-wise with uniformity, attaches a housing 1 integral with a stator 2 and the end bracket 7 to a frame 12. The assembling is possible only in one way, the work is ensured to become more precise and stable. |
