PURPOSE:To provide the surface of good sensitivity of an electrostatic photoreceptor of transfer type by providing a fleece for cleaning which cleans the melt-stuck toner layer on the surface of said photoreceptor behind the cleaning means of the photoreceptor and stopping a developing means while this fleece is operating. CONSTITUTION:A toner image is formed on the surface of an electrostatic photoreceptor 1. When this photoreceptor 1 is used for a long time, a melt-stuck toner layer which is called filming is formed by frictional heat or the like of a fur brush, and this causes inconveniences. A filming cleaner having a fleece 11 is provided behind the cleaning device to remove this melt-stuck toner layer. The fleece 11 operates when a pressing roller is in a position (b). The pressing roller is driven by a cam follower 12 or the like engaging to a cam driven by a motor 16, and during copying, it is in a dwell position (a). While the fleece is operating, a developing means is held stopped. |
