For the conversion of a variable resistance value into a digital signal without a reference voltage, a temperature-dependent resistor (2) is connected in series to a fixed resistor (3). Parallel to this series connection is a resistance conductor (4), which is interrogated using a successive approximation register (11). When the values are equal, the approximation process is interrupted via a comparator (7), and the result is fed to a conversion result register (13). The digital word formed in this way is passed as an address to a read-only memory decoder (14), in which case a digital word, which contains a value which is proportional to the input variable, is stored at each address. This value is passed firstly to a display device (16) and secondly to a computer as an external temperature value, which computer together with other control signals controls the loading of heat storage devices. <IMAGE> |
