The vertical or horizontal sliding doors are placed on landings for loading and unloading hoists. They have double abutting leafs with a handle and an integral safety stop. The doors (5, 6) slide behind the top lintel and the bottom beam of the opening in front of the hoist cage (2). The top door has a U-shaped handle (7), the top edge of which (11) slides into an E-shaped beading (8) which is fixed to the bottom of the top door and forms a safety stop for closing the two doors.
