<p>PURPOSE:To always stabilize the operation of the title filter and to improve the treating performance by radially arranging air diffuser pipes with point symmetry in a tank, uniformizing the air diffuse by the pipes in the whole inside of the tank, and also uniformizing the movement of a granular medium to effectively carry out scrubbing. CONSTITUTION:The packed bed 4 of the granular medium for depositing microbes is formed in the tank 1, a liq. to be treated is passed downward through the bed, and aerobic treatment and filtration are simultaneously carried out in the packed bed 4. An air chamber 6 communicating with air pipes 5 is annularly arranged in the packed bed 4, and plural air diffuser pipes 7 are provided to the air chamber 6 in the direction radial to the center of the tank 1. In addition, a water collecting chamber 8 closed at the upper part and opened at the lower part is provided lower than the air diffuser pipes 7, and a water collecting pipe 9 is connected to the water collecting chamber 8. Namely, diffused air is uniformized in the whole inside of the tank by the diffusion from the air diffuser pipe arranged radially in the tank with point symmetry, the movement of the granular medium is also uniformized, hence scrubbing is effectively carried out, the operation is always stabilized, and the capacity can be increased.</p> |
