PURPOSE:To prevent quality of development from lowering by providing a toner scraping plate faced with a magnetic roll for the toner separation and by transferring almost the whole of the remaining toner after development to a magnetic roll for separation. CONSTITUTION:Near a magnetic roll 8 for development having the surface roughly formen, a magnetic roll 12 for toner separation having the smooth surface faced with the roll 8 is prepared. Further a toner scraping plate 13 faced with the roll 12 is provided, almost the whole of the remaining toner after development adhering on the surface of the magnetic roll 8 for development is transferred to the magnetic roll 12 for separation with a magnet and is scraped practically completely with the scraping plate 13. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent lowering in quality of development caused by old toner left on the surface of the magnetic roll 8 for development. |
