PURPOSE:To prevent rapid fluctuations in rolling load and to improve the thickness accuracy of a rolled plate by engraving a key groove in a sleeve fitting to the tapered neck of a rolling roll and making it possible to prevent the sleeve from rotating, in a Morgoil bearing. CONSTITUTION:The titled bearing is formed of the bushing 2 of a roll chock journal box 1 and a sleeve 5 fitted to the tapered neck 4 of a rolling roll 3. This sleeve 5 has a part projecting from the small diameter end of the tapered neck 4 of the roll 3, and a key groove 7' is engraved here, thence a key 6' is fitted therein. The inward facing end of the key 6' is detained with a receiving holder 12, so that it is functioned as a stopper for the sleeve 5. |
