PURPOSE:To control the light quantity of a laser without generating an unnecessary image even in the course of a continuous recording operation, and to always stabilize the light quantity, by executing an adjustment of the light quantity of an auxiliary recording optical system, in the course of erasing an image by a main recording optical system. CONSTITUTION:An image recorder is constituted of a main recording optical system (a) for original scan which can execute an image erasion processing by irradiating an electrified area on a photosensitive body by using an illuminating light of a lamp for original exposure, an auxiliary recording optical system (b) which can execute an image erasion processing of a designated position by irradiating selectively the electrified area, a light quantity adjusting means (c) for adjusting the light quantity of the optical system (b) to a prescribed value, and a control means (d) for operating the means (c) in the course of executing the image erasion processing by the optical system (a). In such a way, a device of a dual mode system, whose laser light is always stable is obtained. |
