A counting apparatus for registering of especially gas filled holders when using a weighing element 1 with a scale beam 2, whose force arm has a measuring weight 6 which can be moved into a predetermined position, and where the corresponding large, filled container 5 is assigned to each position of the measuring weight so as to act on the load arm. To prevent unauthorised gas filling and to check on the quantity of gas filled, both in units and as a total, the counting apparatus has at least two pulse transmitters 8, 9 co-operating with the measuring weight 6 on the scale beam 2, each of them being connected to an individual counting unit 11, and an additional pulse transmitter 9 co-operating directly with the scale beam 2, being connected to a sealed collective counting unit 12. <IMAGE>
