PURPOSE:To prepare a flux for a solder wrapping core being eliminated the carbonization phenomenon at the time of soldering and being maintained its activity, by adding xylelin diamine, etc., to the mixture of zinc chloride, ammonium chloride, and epsilon-caprolactam. CONSTITUTION:This is a flux for solder with core prepared by mixing approx. 10-50% zinc chloride, approx. 1-20% ammonium chloride, approx. 30-70% epsilon-caprolactam, and approx. 5-10% xylelin diamine or diphenyldiamine. This xylelin diamine, etc., act as a reaction accelerator and a flux hardening agent. This flux eliminates the carbonization phenomenon at the time of soldering and maintains the wetting property of solder and accelerates the flow of solder into the space in joints of copper tube, etc. Moreover, this flux has less void and is easily washed away by water. |
