PURPOSE:To facilitate jam clearing, drum cleaning, etc., by equipping a drum support connected to the movable-side rail of a rail mechanism provided to a machine body, and by equipping a slider which slides on a photosensitive drum shaft while supporting the drum. CONSTITUTION:A rail mechanism 3 is equipped with a fixing side rail 4, which is provided with a movable side rail 5 which can be drawn. At the end part of this movable side rail 5, a slider 7 is fixed via a drum support 6. This slider 7 has a holding hole 9, into which said drum shaft 2 is inserted slidingly, so that this slider 7 holds the free end part of the drum shaft 2. This constitution simplifies and facilitates jam clearing, drum cleaning and drum replacing operations remarkably to improve the maintenance. |
