PURPOSE:To secure a constant monitor for the height of a clinker layer to control the height of layer, by hanging rotatably a swing damper into the shift space of a clinker and providing a device that detects and indicates the angle of rotation of the swing damper to the shaft of the swing damper. CONSTITUTION:A bearing 13 is attached to the side wall of a waste heat collecting device main body 3, and both a shaft 12 supported by the bearing 13 and a swing damper 11 connected to the shaft 12 are set to freely rotate. An angle detector 14 is attached to an end of the shaft 12 to detect a rotational angle alpha in the form of a change of resistance value. This change is displayed by an angle indicator 15. If the relay thickness of a clinker 8 increases gradually from a proper value h1, the lower end of the damper 11 touches the clinker 8 and then has rotary movement toward the shift direction X by the flow of the clinker 8. In this case, the rotary angle alpha of the damper 11 is always monitored by the indicator 15. When the layer thickness reaches the danger value h2, the angle of that moment is detected to discharge the clinker 8. |
