PURPOSE:To automatically restore with the finish of earthquake to eliminate the effort to reset for restarting by a method wherein there is employed a switch mechanism, which is normally closed and temporarily opened at the outbreak of earthquake and then re-closed automatically after the earthquake is over. CONSTITUTION:In the state with no earthquake, the upper surface of a cylindrical member 2 is horizontal and the closed passage is formed between terminals 9 and 10. Next, in the case that the earthquake, in which the earthquake sensing switch senses a mixed vibration of vertical and horizontal vibrations, occurs, the cylindrical member 2 swings relatively to a supporting frame 1. In the case that the earthquake sensing switch senses only a vertical vibration, a weight 5, a weight supporting member 4, the cylindrical member 2 and the switch mechanism 6 jump up relatively above the supporting frame 1 and only the switch mechanism falls later during their falling down. Consequently, in any case, the passage between the terminals 9 and 10 is opened. In both cases, the passage between the terminals 9 and 10 is automatically re-closed after the earthquake is over. |
