PURPOSE:To easily record and reproduce video signals of different television systems, by providing a delay line corresponding to the difference of angle division between a recording rotating head and playback rotating head. CONSTITUTION:A tape TP recorded with a video signal through the use of a pair of rotating heads located with the 2nd angle division theta2, is detected with a pair of rotating heads Ha, Hb located with the 1st angle division theta1 and reproduced at a playback circuit 1 via a changeover switch 3. In this case, the difference alpha between the 1st and 2nd angle divisions theta1, theta2 corrsponds to 0.42H in case of the signal of the NTSC system, where H is the horizontal period. The signal is delayed by 0.42H in every other field by the delay line 2 at the output side of the circuit 1 and transmitted to a television picture receiver 6. |
