摘要 PURPOSE:To increase track density easily by reducing intertrack crosstalk by specifying an intersectional angle between magnetized inversion surfaces of adjacent recording tracks. CONSTITUTION:When an intersectional angle alpha between magnetization inversion surfaces 22 of adjacent recording tracks 32-34 which is the least common multiple of magnetization inversion intervals of recording on the recording tracks 32-34 is beta and track width is (h), the recording is so performed that the equation holds. The boundaries of the recording tracks, on the other hand, are shown by 31. Concretely, when an auxiliary magnetic pole 15 is energized by flowing an external signal current through a coil 16, a magnetic flux leaking from the auxiliary magnetic pole 15 converges on near a main magnetic pole 14 composed of materials with high magnetic permeability to magnetize a vertically magnetized film 11 vertically to the film surface. When the energizing direction of the auxiliary magnetic pole 15 is changed according to the signal current flowed through the coil 16, the vertically magnetized film is magnetized for recording as shown by the arrow of a sign 21. When the film surface of the main magnetic pole 14 is placed at right angles to the moving direction 13 of a recording medium, the magnetization inversion surfaces 22, which are the boundaries of magnetization inverted alternately, cross the moving directions 13 of the vertically magnetized film 11 and the recording medium nearly at right angles and become parallel to the main magnetic pole 14.
